If I were a polar bear maybe things would be different

I would get all the fish I could eat, never going hungry

Maybe I’d even get the bear of polar tales

I would soar above the ground and trees

Maybe I could see soarers I never saw before

If I were a fish maybe things would be different

I could swim wherever I want, blowing bubbles

Maybe I’d even get the starfish

If I were a kangaroo maybe things would be different

I could see the sights of australia, view life in other shoes

Maybe I’d even meet a kickbox champion

If I were a firefly maybe things would be different

I could fly around and stay up at night

Maybe I would find another's light

I would shine my light throughout the night

Maybe I’d watch over the amazing

If I am who I am, then things are as they are

I can do all things with surprising ease

I am a person and I found who I am suppose to be

My life is amazing and on this day I am grateful

I love what I do and the choices I choose

Maybe things would be different if I was different

But I am unique in every way

I love who I am and wouldn’t change being human

I am who I am and life is swell wherever I go

I have been granted a beautiful soul and mind

We should be thankful everyday for being who we are
