Religion vs. Spirituality

What do people mean when they say religious?
The word Religion, is a word often used toward people who go to church
But why not call it spiritual?
Spiritual is a much better word than Religious
Religious is more like a label
People misuse it so much its crazy
My faith is spiritual
One that you can put a label like religion on
Religion by definition is a particular system
But in reality our faith is so much more than that
We don't rely on a chart that says we must do this at this time with that certain idea
Instead we follow God's own heart the way he wants us to
He leads us, and sure we screw up
We are only human after all, not the Messiah
But God knows that, that is why he sent Jesus
As a way of saying, "I know your not perfect, and that is why I sent my son."
As a proclamation of saying, "I love you no matter how many sins you have, Follow me child."
He has set us free
This is not just some religion, It takes God's gift of mercy and faith
It is our spirituality that God's grace lives through
Let our life be His example
To all those people out there who have been prosecuted
I am thankful that I live in a country that has freedom of religion
Thankful that I can celebrate the good news of God and my spirituality
For the grace of God is my salvation
I will stand upon his word, nothing can tear me down
He has saved me and so many others
This is not religion this is faith
